Our Team

  • Savannah Beasley - President and Founder

“Animals have been a steady part of my life for as long as I can remember. They’ve taught me responsibility, compassion, and the kind of loyalty you don’t find anywhere else. After losing Reese and experiencing the challenges of accessing affordable emergency care, I realized just how many families face the same tragedy every day. I started The Reese Project because I believe that financial circumstances shouldn’t determine whether someone can help the pet they love. My goal is to make vet care more accessible and remove the fear that families feel when an emergency happens.

When I’m not working on this organization, I’m a mom, a bartender, and someone who enjoys finding ways to help others. I’ve studied business and marketing, and those skills are helping me build something stable, transparent, and community-focused. This nonprofit is driven by real experience, compassion, and commitment to doing the right thing. Helping families keep their fur babies healthy and safe is something I’m proud to dedicate my time to.”

  • Jessie Worth - Secretary

“The bond we share with our pets is one of the simplest and best forms of love. As a mom and dog lover, I’ve seen firsthand how much comfort, joy, and stability animals bring into a home, even on the days when everything feels chaotic. My two dogs have been there for me through moves, milestones, late-night feedings, and more. They’re family, and I think most people who have pets would agree.

I joined The Reese Project because I know what it means to love an animal and how terrifying it can be to face an emergency I may not be able to afford. No family should ever have to choose between financial survival and their pets life. If I can play even a small role in helping another family keep their pet safe, then being part of this mission is worth everything.”

  • Lexis Brown - Treasurer

“My mission is to make a meaningful difference in the lives of animals and the families who love them. As someone who has loved and lost pets that still hold space in my heart, I know the grief that comes when medical care feels out of reach. In our home, my little girl is absolutely obsessed with our cat Paisley. She sees her as a playmate, protector, and as family. Watching their bond reminds me that children feel these connections just as deeply as adults. No parent should have to explain to their child that their best friend passed because treatment was too expensive.

When I’m not helping build The Reese Project, I’m a stay-at-home mom, raising a daughter who is learning to love animals with her whole heart. That alone inspires me to create a world where compassion leads and help excists before heartbreak happens. I want to be there for families who feel scared, overwhelmed, and out of options. If this mission can spare even one family the pain I’ve felt, or give one child more time with the animal they adore, then every moment poured into this work is worth it.”
